you know the whole reasoning behind why the army created that silly badge right? because the non-infantry were crying and complaining that they didnt have "their own" badge and that it is unfair to everyone outside the infantry world who conducts operations in iraq and afghanistan because apparently being cited for awards for your accomplishments and the pride of being awarded a combat patch and saying that you have fully served your country just isnt enough and it was mainly those who stayed on the fobs and never conducted any type of combat related mission or patrol that were making a huge ruckus (lol) about it...another reason that it is silly and pointless and irrelevant to have...since the induction of the army combat uniform as a whole, i can count on one hand how many personnel actually wear ANY skill badges on their uniforms...the only ones that i see wearing them are for Chain of Command photos...also because it is a hassle to pin them on and take them off every time you wash your uniform and they look unprofessional on the acu as well...man i could keep going too...the CAB can be awarded to any soldier serving in an area where they receive hostile fire pay so really you dont even have to be engaged in combat to be awarded this c**k and b**ls badge...only beneficial reason to have one awarded to you is it is worth 15 promotion points...other than that its all the reasons i have stated above...plus it looks horrible on ANY uniform

"the CAB can be awarded to any soldier serving in an area where they receive hostile fire pay so really you dont even have to be engaged in combat"

I think you gotta re-read your AR man because it does not works like that...

'i can count on one hand how many personnel actually wear ANY skill badges on their uniforms..."

You do know that wearing of any skill badges in Country is not allowed

I just hope u know that i was just kidding about the last post..
with that being said its up to you how u interpret it...
