Question omg omg!

i was at ward center parking lot today at about 2pm and saw a GPW that was parked with the front of the car psuhed into the fence fronting the street between the parking lot and the theaters. the rest of the car on the grass between the fence and the parking stall. it looked to me like someone pushed the GPW with their car/truck out of the stall and into the fence. there were some cops and many on-lookers there.

GPW had cwest kit in front and cf hood and other cf parts with a cloth top. i didnt recognize the car or the people near the car, but wanted to post to say that i am sorry to see.

i do hope everything is okay.

Yeah I was there talking to the two guys who were fellow Devil Dogs. I saw the damage close up and it was bad. I felt so sick just looking at it. His carbon fenders were cracked in half. They told me that the car had an auto start and sadly it was in gear as it jumped that cement blocker and hit the fence.

OMG another one!

A Subaru STI parks along side my office on base, the guy who owns it lives in the barracks across the street on the second floor. One moring I'm driving in and I see the STI smashed into the side of my building, which is down a small hill and over some grass from where it had parked. Turns out he had a remote start installed and had pushed the button while standing on his balcony, which allowed him to see his car jump the curb go down the hill and smash into the building as he realized he had left it in gear. I'll try to find the pics I took of the scene.

Wow...I wasn't even aware that we could remote start our cars. I was told once that because of the clutch in it wouldn't work. Yikes....I'm sorry to hear about both of the cases. the S sounded especially nice
