Default Perfection....

Ever had one of those days where everything just clicked? Car felt great (after oil, transmission and diff fluid change) and sounded great. And you drove your car like a champ where everything was just smooooth and you and your car was full-on grace with motion.

After the all the rain, took the S2000 out. Stupid grin for 3 hours.....too much fun.

Just out of curiosity, at what intervals do you change all the fluids out in your car?

unfortunately, i wholeheartedly agree. i can't remember the last time i felt like that. most days, i'm smooth and the car really works well and i'm happy. but when it's right, it's really right. the weather, the traffic, the music on the radio. everything.

you're sooooo lucky you got there.

I've only had this car for about 6K miles -- car's @ 31K miles. So far 3 oil changes, 3 diff changes and 2 transmission changes.....and a coolant flush 5K miles ago.

I'll be changing the oil now every 4K miles. The MTF and diff? Probably within every 3rd oil change or 12K miles.

I've been using Mobil 1 cause it's cheap at Costco, but I'm curious enough to try something else on the next oil change.

Yea, I was down at Pflueger earlier today asking about getting my car scheduled for its "break-in" period fluid change. According to them, these cars do not really need to have the fluids changed sooner than the normal interval during the break in period. Sounded a bit off to me, and I think I am just going to go ahead and do it myself anyhow...
