Default recon and S2000s

i got a recon ticket over the weekend so i was thinking about trying to get recon.

a friend told me that S2s cant pass recon cause their stock height is low its doesnt meet the middle of headlit to ground minimum.

is that true?

I never measured mine while stock, but take a tape measure and find the ride height from the bottom of the headlight to the ground. If it is 22 inches or higher, you're o.k.
I have also heard that a stock s2000 won't pass, but I'm not sure.
Where did you get your ticket?

I hate to be so cynical, but even the "click-it or ticket" campaign stinks of fund-raising more than public safety concern. Not that I'm worried about that as much, since I always buckle up anyway. In fact, it probably takes their attention more to seat belts than pulling people over for recon.... or not!

i bet that "click-it or ticket" bullcrap is even more incentive to corral people and snag um for recon too...
