well at least i think they did.

elicit was using my car today, running errands and stuff. she came back and while wiping down the S, she noticed the lip was gone!

the metal brackets that hold it on are still there. no bolts though. the screws that go on the ends are missing with no damage to the clips or mounts. there are no scratches on the bumper. and she definitely would have heard/felt it rip off if it fell off during driving.

at first i thought she hooked it on something in the parking lot and when reversing, inadvertently tore it off. but the more that i look at it and wonder where the damage to the rest of the car is, i'm thinking someone unbolted it and STOLE it.

the bumper shows no damage or misalignment. i assume if it came off at speed, something else would have been damaged too.

anybody have an ap2 front lip in GPW they wanna sell me? how bout an ap1 front bumper and lip? i'll dig that too.

anyway, be careful in all this fricken rain guys and gals.

 

Sorry to hear that. It sounds more like someone stole it off your car rather then it ripping off from snagging something.

 

ive never seen anyone esle with a gpw lip so if I see it ill steal it back for you hehe



you should of carved you initials into it seems like you need to do that with everything now days
