Default Shift Knob

My 2001 S2K's shift knob looks pretty bad. Instead of replacing it with the same thing, I figure I try different model year's. I know there's a titanium one, but I don't care to spend a $100-plus for it. The 2002 comes with a leather-wrapped one? Will it fit the 01? Any other style?

Even though you are dead-set on getting another oem shiftknob, I would seriously take a look at the countersunk aftermarket knobs, especially ones from voodoo. $30 shipped for used aluminum pearl for me, and it's beautiful and functional.

I have the voodoo pearl finish countersunk on my S. If you want to see how it feels, you can try out my knob.

This is a pic of the muz countersunk knob. This is a pretty heavy version 28 grams more than stock I believe...should be still for sale on the website. Countersunk knobs like this sit lower than stock and I like the extra weight on mine. Anyway...lmk if you need more pics.
