Seems the s2 is the obvious choice. If its not broke don't fix it. If you are happy why change what you got. With kent I could see that 2 S2s is a little pointless.

I took out an '08 M3 Sedan 6spd today and though it's got gobs of power (414 hp), I don't like the stick shift. I think the S2k has seriously ruined it for me for any other manual transmission vehicle. I'm waiting for our black/black M3 to arrive with the double-clutch transmission and see how i like that. I'm worried about insurance for an M3 too. Gotta admit though, the growl of the V8 was pretty satisfying. But then again, my top down drive home was too! I'M SO CONFUSED!!!
Yes, get into the M3. My M3 shifts just as smooth as my S2000 without the 2nd gear grind.

The 4 doors are sluggish but the coupe is what you want. Sucks about gas prices though. How are they in Hawaii?

It has to be a 4-door or Junko won't let me come home. She's under the impression that I'm turning in my S2k for a "civilized" BMW sedan. 4-door for when we need to take her parents around town. If she knew the big difference between a 3-series and an M3 it would be a deal-breaker (4-door or not.)
Don't any of you go telling her!

Meh, it looks like I won't get the M3 anyway, since it's too new to get an employee lease rate
now, how about that M5?

yeah, and those that pm'd me with interest in the parts, post it up because the new owner will deal with these.
The seats are sold, and it looks like a deal was done for the bumper and possibly the intake.
