Default Sponsorship

Does anyone know anything about sponsorship? I recieved an email from yokohama:
Dear Adam:

Thank you for contacting our office.

Please send your complete sponsorship proposal, along with photos to info@yokohamatire.com and your interest will be forwarded to the Performance Marketing department.

Thank you for your interest in Yokohama Tire Corporation.

Sincerely,

Consumer Affairs

I think even if I had a proposal or knew how to make one, it wouldn't be the hot topic of the day so to speak. Maybe if the entire chapter was involved it would hold more weight. Yokohama isn't the only company that has contacted me, however the other companies either don't have parts for the S2000 or are not offering sponsorships. Just throwing it out there.

most sponsorship packages require participation in shows/racing events. also a unique vehicle that can showcase the sponsor's products. i think sinfuL could fill us in the most about such an undertaking.

i dont think i would want to be sponsored by a company like yokohama. they would have you by the balls doing shows you dont want to do and stuff.

i agree....though cheap or free parts are always a plus, the fact that they would have so much control would not be worth it to me....but it all depends on what all is involved.....the whole chapter idea could get interesting
