Thinking of a new Cellular, can anyone comment on AT&T?

I am tired of waiting for T-Mobile to "fix" the coverage issues in my house. If I could get better coverage at home, I'd be tempted to disconnect our home phone. The new Motorola V600 has the Bluetooth connectivity I need for demonstrating the TL, and I'm wondering if anyone that has been to my house has AT&T service? Do you remember if it worked OK here? Anyone with experience with their rate plans? If we switched, I'd probably look for some kind of "shared minute" plan for both phones. Any input would be appreciated!

You may want to wait for Verizon to release their Motorola V710 this month or early next month. Bluetooth capable and IMO, Verizon has the best coverage. I've read a lot of gripes with the V600.

OK, AT&T is out! Too many comments about poor cust service etc. I am quite happy with T-mobile in general, I just want better coverage in my area. If i could find a phone with better reception and stay with T-mobile that would be fine. The only issue is that if I searched for a SonyEricsson Z600 on the internet, I'd have to pay full price (around 399) since I'm not buying a "phone/service plan" package. In this case, switching providers allows me to change phones, keep my number, and get a better deal on the phone itself. Rick, the V710 looks pretty good, I like the idea of an extendable antenna!

I have an AT&T mpx200 and the service is pretty bad. Seems like the GSM service from AT&T is far from ready. I had a V60 on their TDMA network and the performance was terrific. Ever since switching to a GSM phone the service has been pretty crappy. My boss and girlfriend also have GSM phones with AT&T with similar results (all different phones).

I'm in Kunia, and reception is OK as you get closer to Walmart, but in the block where we live, it's pretty spotty. I can be on a call, and the phone will drop it even if I haven't moved an inch! Sometimes it doesn't even ring, and the calls go straight to voicemail.
