which tires?
so i need a new set of rear tires and well i dont know which ones to get, and i wanted to hear your guys opinion on different tires your cars have worn.
so here are the choices from tire rack: Bridgestone: RE050(OE tires), SO-3 PP, and RE 750, then there is Kumho Ecsta MX (which kent really likes...) and Dunlop SP sport maxx. All very close in price except the Kumho which is like $140 each.
so tell me what you guys think! oh and if there are anyother tires you guys like tell mee!!!

I have the KUMHO MX they seem to work really good. I don't take my car out to the track so I don't know how they would do out there. I havn't had any other type of tire since I had my car. They work really good, I've gone around the turn leaving hickam going 70 pretty much riding the inside shoulder and it didn't feel like the tires were about to give out or anything.
Well I know these don't compare to S0-3's but I have the Yokohama AVS ES100 and so far they've been really good. Although, I'm comparing them to bald S02s that were on the car. As for the RE750, they squeal an excessive amount. In my Celica I would take a turn and the tires would squeal as if I was ripping it, but I'm not.
If they're available in the size you need I highly recommend the Goodyear Eagle F1GS-D3. Excellent tires, there's really nothing I can fault them on - quiet, great dry and wet grip, cool tread pattern, rim protector bulge, not ridiculously expensive. I think I'm over 20kmi on the set I have on the Legacy now and they still have plenty of tread left.
