I got my Star Specs shipped to my door in Manoa for like 580 on tirerack.com . All the shops on the island said they were special order anyway.

i went through tire rack for my set of yokohama AD08. shipping for a set of stock sized ap1 tires were about $120. ordered them on thursday and received the following tuesday. had them shipped to a tire rack authorized dealer in aiea and also had them install the tires and dispose my old ones.

Tire Rack. Too much BS from local chains like firestone, everything for the S is special order it seems.

Shipping really wasn't that bad on TR.

Locally I recommend Rex Tire, expensive but top notch service, they feature Toyo, the T1R is OK, I prefer the R compounds in that brand. I use them for the old lady's car as she's totally about no BS, want it yesterday service and convenience.

I've seen some good pricing through Costco but I don't know about service.

Tire Rack was the source for my Star Specs but the local service from their "approved" dealer, Goodyear, was problematic (leaking valve stem, wrong pricing).
