Default which tires to get?

which tires do you guys think i should get next?
the Hankook R-S2(currently running with no complaints) or the Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R(heard good things, contemplating something new) this would be in stock AP1 fitment to go on the spoons....

its about $100 more from tirerack for the Potenzas

plus i don't know about rubbing issues due to the "slammedness", the potenzas are slightly wider at the tread...

The RE01-R is a better tire overall I guess, but if you are just driving around and not really pushing the limits, I would just stay with Hankooks, especially since you know they fit properly. another consideration could be Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs. Good price, reaally good reviews.

hard to say. the hankooks i drove were on a mini and steering response is good on those cars from the start. absolute grip is also good, but i am a stone bridge man so i would say 01r or try the new CR tire, rumors are they produce faster lap times then the 01r. if you can find the size that is. they come stock on the gt-r as a run flat if that means anything to you.

I've got re01r's on the front, love um, can't wait to wear out my stock rear tires (long story) so I can get those out back as well.

If you poke around you can get $100 coupon for a set of bridgestones. I think it's in this months SCCA magazine in the tirerack ad. If I find it I'll PM you.
