I guess I'm gonna have to try Windward too once I decide to get off my lazy ass and do it. I hope I don't have to deal with an incompetant service writer there.

anyone tried calling American Honda? when there was recall on my old accord all the dealers wanted to charge me. when i call AH they told me just to pay them and mail them the invoice and they'll send me a check and they did.

just a heads up, i recently checked the honda online repair site for any info related to this concern, i wasn't able to locate any service bulletins/campaigns/recalls per this concern. so, figured i'd let you know, that they may in fact charge you for the repair outta your own pocket.

well guys, i went to windward today and they didn't even give me any hassle with it...i explained to them the problem...they looked at it and already got the parts on order...all under warranty.....they said they are pretty sure that some of the rivets might have been rubbing causing the hole.....

got the call....parts are in....taking it in on thursday....no s fot a day or so....but for a new top i can handle that...
