Going to Vegas? Find the GameWorks place and try the world's tallest indoor rock climb.

Are you serious that you don't know what to do in Vegas? Here's a suggestion....Find the shiny well lit part of town called the Vegas strip....

also...check out Spearmint Rhino...

If you go to a club called: "Rum-Jungle" (I think that's the name of the place,) look for a big hawaiian guy named Jeremy (nickname- Big Worm) or a guy named Sonny. Both of them are from the Big Island and very good friends of mine. Lot's of people from Hawaii lives and works there in Vegas. My good friend works at the Luxor so if you plan on checking out some shows (Blue Man is held at the Luxor- Good show!) ask for a guy named Marc (nickname- "Hawaiian") He's actually a short Japanese guy.

If you ever come across one of these people, tell them that you know Stephen from Kona (a.k.a. - Spanky) and they'll treat you good.

Have fun up there, there's lot's of things to do in Vegas. Go make some $$$$$$$!

I've heard that Vegas is trying to diversify to become a more family oriented destination, so there should be a lot more to do there than just gambling.

Everyone who has seen the show "O" has said it is not to be missed. It's playing at the Bellagio hotel, but you'll have to try and secure tickets before you go because it's usually sold out in advance (weeks or months I'm not sure).

If you are craving local style food, just go to the California hotel (not on The Strip, it's downtown.). You can get oxtail soup, saimin, loco moco, anything Hawaiian. That hotels business is 80% from Hawaii. When I went there last time, I saw people so many people that I haven't seen since high school, I felt like I was at a reunion.

Oh damn forgot to mantion I saw "O" while I was out there last week. Great show, Mystere is just as good though, but "O" is newer so still a hot ticket. Food, just go anywhere, if you are on a tight budget though ask the hotel for the coupon books, they usually have some good deals. If you are a AAA member go to the M&M store they sometimes have good deals for AAA members at the adjacent Gameworks factory. When I went they doubled the amount of money you spent. So if you put $20 on the access card they made it into $40. If gambling is your thing, Bellagio (where I stayed) seemed to be the most crowded and with the hottest chicks. A lot of the hotels are suffering in the bad economy. The Aladdin has gone bankrupt and is looking for a new buyer. Oh yeah some helpful info, if you plan on staying on the strip don't even bother renting a car. It only costs $10 to go from the airport to the main strip in a cab. If you plan on walking there is a tram that goes from the Bellagio to near the Monte Carlo so you can skip the walk.
