Visiting Honolulu
yo whats up guys, me and my girl are going to Honolulu for a little vacation. i was wondering if anyone could tell me of any sort of attractions to see, places to go, and restaurants to eat. what are the best stuff for tourists? we're going in mid april, is the weather going to be good? any help is appreciated thanks!
something fun for the younger people, we are in our early 20's. money shouldnt be a restriction but nothing too over the top. we are staying at one of those hilton towers, not sure which one. i actually wanna eat the best hawaiian style food like saimin and such.

you can just park the car and walk the short trails to visit the tide pools, check out pele's chair, etc.
it's not yer average waikiki spot

oo yeah to get some good saimin i would say the place i like to eat the most saimin is Palace saimin in kalihi across the post office. also a good saimin place is also in kalihi and its called Boulevard saimin. very ono food

The shrimp trucks are the bomb!!! Giavani's (sp?) hot and spicey... (bring beer)... just drive around and suck in everything the island has to offer... cheap fun meal on Waikiki Beach can be had at On the Run... Sushi, tempura, and cold, cold Kirin beer... grab one of the four side walk tables and sit back and enjoy... it's right on the beach at the Mariott. If you got some money to burn hook up with the folks out at Paradise Helicopter... not all that crazy about Turtle Bay (too commercial)but the Paradise folks fly out of there... great ride in a Huges 500 D w/no doors... the only way to fly! Going myself in April... spending a day or two in Oahu and then heading out to Maui and the Big Island... trying to score a day or two out at Jack Thompson's place... can hardly wait... damn... your part of the world is the absolute most beautiful place on the planet...
