i went to look at a black ap1 yesterday,

MY00, 92,6xx miles, black was not the original color, theres spots of red in the door jams and fenders under the hood, the whole engine bay looked to be silverstone. the hood is frp and was silver and the current owner had it painted black. there are chrome windshield sprayers that arent hooked up to anything. had exhaust, motegi wheels, dvd player, red interior, driver side left bolster was super cracked. and a horrible whining sound coming from the transmission tunnel. a pillar plastic on the driver side was falling off at me. the top looked good and seemed to work well. it seemed to handle ok, and the motor seemed ok.

found this on craigslist for $7500, before he painted the hood. what you guys think?
im thinking epic fail, maybe you guys can confirm, or change my mind

well for the amount your saving you could just wide body it right fromthe get go hahha offer 7 and buys js racing wide body so total cost is uhhhh 14g not including labor

offer 7 and aftermarket it up to replace all the worn crappy stuff. then respray. you'll still come out ahead with a decent car for a decent price!

 

thats what im doing...i picked mine for 7 grand...only had to replace the clutch and flywheel and ripped part of the kit off...slowly working my way up to originality on the island
