I finally got some good pictures of the rims on Randy's car.

Just a random thought, the Spoon Wheels should really use hub rings. Randy ran them without them because he used the Regamaster Center caps which won't fit with the hub rings (at least that is what I was told). Prolene and I both tried the S2000 with and without the rings. We came to the same conclusion that you can feel a difference, handling is improved with them. Don't know how important that is to you. Also, don't forget to get the Spoon Lugs, the design is seated properly for the wheels as compared to the stock lugs.

Thanks for the info again Turbo. Also, Randy is sending me silver Spoon lugs but I have blue SSR lugnuts which look just like the Spoon lugs but they are open ended. So they should work. I guess I wont run with the caps on then. I like them off anyway, thats how I am running my SSR right now with no cap.

I remeber randy saying that he painted the lugs silver. Original color was red. Yeah, dont put the caps on. That would weigh the car down

Yeah Randy painted them silver, the red was to red when I saw it in person, that's why I went with the gunmetal for mine. I guess since you are getting the blue Spoon Calipers the blue lugs might be ok. I also think the wheels look meaner without the caps. Depending how rusted the middle is, you could always paint those black as well.

Here is the update. I decided to not go with the hardtop at this time. The Spoon wheels are being shipped off tomorrow and I ordered the Spoon deluxe monoblock calipers from the mainland. They should be here by Friday of this week. I should have the brakes and wheels by Wed of the following week. I will get pictures up for everyone probably that following weekend. I will keep everyone updated. Also I sold the Comptech CAI.

What's the difference between the ones you ordered, and the ones we saw at Eurosport?
