Its gonna be hard to find a clean title s2 for under 10k. There was a nfr ap1 on craigslist last week for around 9k. But dont know if the title is salvage or not

possibly it might be but with the current economy now might be the easiest time.

what color was it? the silver one that was crashed or the red one?

I checked out the red one it has 150,000 miles.. supposedly has a rebuilt motor. talked to the guy he wanted 8.5-9. test drove it and it was pretty alright the steering felt kind of loose when driving it. car felt floaty and 150,000 miles means a lot more problems down the road.

checking some on the mainland there were a lot more in my price range. Didn't want to go too over budget on the initial price of the car if im going to mod it anyway.

looking for a 00-01 ap1

this was one option but i didnt like the way the fenders were painted. wanted a more clean look to it. this isnt too far from the goal. might trade the hood and possibly the trunk for someone's stock trunk plus cash. maybe then i would pick it up.

under 10 for any s2000 is almost guarantee problems. not saying all.. but for 2-3K more you would be purchasing something much more worth your while.

that silver one on craigslist probably has had a front collision. look at the parts that have been changed. hood, bumper, fenders and lights lol
