hi, I'm in Oahu and I'm looking for a clean S2k.

Absolutely NO MODIFICATIONS. If the car has ever been modified or smoked in, I'm not interested. The only modifications I would accept are changing plastic RW to a glass RW or updating the headlights or taillights to the newer clusters.

I'm looking for a 2002+ (because of the glass RW) with low mileage, and of course in outstanding condition.

I prefer white, yellow, or black.

Colin referred me to this site. So far, it seems pretty nice. Thanks!

LOL....yeah the manual tells you about it, but the manual is in the secret compartment...haha

 

^ talk about a catch 22. i'm glad i lurked this forum long before i bought my car. although i did miss out on the joy of one day discovering the secret compartment.

 

kent showed me that secret! i guess i missed it while reading the manual.

 

I've got a white 04 w/6000something miles all stock.

I'd sell it if price was right.

btw, whats your "right price?" I'd bet any one of you would drop your car if I had 50k.

2002-2003 White w/Black or Red interior. Hahahaha. I'm being a picky bastard, but thats probably why I go through almost 1 car a year.

In any case....what quirks? Secret compartment?

The quirks would definately be something I should know about. Quirks kept me from buying an M3.

Is the S2k an expensive car to own? lots of maintenance? recalls? problems?

 

when i bought my yellow s2k from autosource about a month ago, they also had a 2002 white w/ red in there. the only thing that was modified was the sound system. had some subs in the back i believe. and if i remember correctly the price was like 27k. oh and 50k for my S??? hell yeah i'll let you get it. LOL. good luck with your search.

You're right about that Colin! However, I did enjoy all the different cars I got to drive. I still think about getting a Miata again. I am waiting to see what the NC Miata looks like this August.
