Default Cupholder Mod! :updated:

Since owning the S I've always wanted a better cupholder. Being a Audi TT owner I have purchased many products from the Modshack and knew of the comuTTer cupholder that was made specifically for the Audi TT.

Well it fits perfectly in the seat rail attachement point without any modifications. It sits low enough as not to affect my driving position or clutch engadgement. Plus, I can now enjoy spirited driving without fear of spilling my beverage. Access has not been compromised for me either.

More pics of install at my fotki. . Thanks Modshack! For more info on the ComuTTer cupholder. (and no I'm not hired to endorse the modshack products. Just happy to have found a solution that works for me).

Seat all the way back:

Super Sized!

More photos at my Fotki!

Modshack's webpage

75 - 85 shipped.

A bit on the high side but made of quality materials. Easily removable if needed. Maybe he could do a group discount or price lower without the Audi dimples.

Email him for details. Here's his Website

Definitely worth while mod. I can't fit anything in to the little cup holders in the console. Plus it gets in the way when driving. I don't drink in my car often, but sometimes it's unavoidable.

That's pretty nice, but $75-85 is insane! For the $10 alternative, follow the link in my sig.

It won't hold a 40 oz. cup, but it keeps things out of my way especially if I'm bracing my knee on the door during spirited driving. Plus, the drink is placed just beyond the shifter - pretty good location.

There are others here who have used other holders in the same location, but this one requires no drilling either.

I just contacted them. I have a MY01 and where the cup holder is located makes it hader to shift at times. Thanks for the info.

I have this set up, it works great with any size cup and folds out of the way when I have a passenger.
