I just recently purchased a brand new pair of 04-05 AP2 Headlights. This was originally for a conversion to an AP1.

Basically, when I was trimming the ballast opening in the bottom to fit the HID socket, I was naturally getting shavings everywhere. Well, when I blew into the headlight to clear out the plastic shavings... the shavings went deeper into the housing and is now inside the lens area.

I figure the lenses have to be taken off to clear the shavings completely out... and I'm getting my car back from the body shop in a few days. I already bought another set of AP1 headlights cause I just don't have the time to mess with it.

Both housings have already been trimmed large enough to fit in the sockets. All that needs to be done is to clean out the shavings and install the lights, sockets, etc...

These are still brand new and in perfect condition with the exception of my modification.
