Help design a new header for s2ki.com

Help design a new header for s2ki.com
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a new deisgn for the header of s2ki. Here are the specs for what I need:
- The header must be in Photoshop PSD format, layered so it can be modified and adjusted
- The header needs to be 90 pixels high and a minimum of 800 pixels wide but needs to be expandable to fit the page width and look good up to 1600 pixels wide
- There needs to be an area within it to accomodate navigation buttons or links. Preference given to the most flexible solution
- There needs to be an area for "indicators" or "lamps" or something similar allowing for a search box, new PM indication, new Email indication, chatters indication, logged in user name, logout function plus 2 other functions like it and room for 3 other indicators for future use. Preference again given to the most flexible way to do this.
- Must be S2000ish, incorporate graphics, illustrations, photos or images conveying the S2000
- Must not use Honda trademarks (the name or logo S2000 or the Honda H logo)
- Must incorporate the S2KI logo available in Illustrator format from https://www.s2ki.com/download/s2kilogo.ai
What I'm looking for is something which has all of the navigation and information elements for the current header but allows for more sections (need to add some more, 3 or 4). Functionally, except for needing more buttons, the header we have works but it needs some freshening up. Functionality is key so a pretty design that doesn't offer the navigation and informational elements is no good.
The main criteria are:
Does it look good?
Will it look good 6 months from now or be tired?
Are the navigation elements clear and straightforward and does it offer the ability to expand or change without having to be redesigned?
Does it reflect the S2000-centric nature of s2ki?
Does it set a theme or style that can be cleanly applied to the whole site?
If we select your design for the new header you will receive:
- Lifetime Gold Membership
- An "I redesigned s2ki.com and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" t-shirt
- Fame, fortune and 1000 virgins
Post up your mockups here and we'll have a look at them. If your design gets the most praise and meets all of the functional specs we will ask you to go on to finalize it and make it the new central theme of s2ki!

I am not sure about what you want to see concerning some elements but feel free to use this sample below to talk waht you do and do not want
Please expound on this though:

I would like to know what type/size indicators you are looking for. I can rework the dark blue area, the navigation bar, or use the white space to allow for a row of indicators i.e. lightbulbs etc etc.

There is none but before the end of the month would be nice. I'm anxious to get it running and start working on making the site layout better. I've got features to add to the menu that are just sitting there so the sooner I can get them linked in the better.
