If you are not looking to upgrade further in the long run you can go with a smaller turbo which allows quicker spool-up time. Usually people like to keep their options open and not limit themselves to a certain hp level by peaking out their turbo immediately. A good turbo for the s2000 for up to 450 whp is the gt30. You could go smaller but if you decide you need more power, the bigger turbo will allow you to do so much easier.

I would look at greddy and inline pro. If you want to install it yourself and drive it then geddy. If you want to be able to upgrade over time then in-line. It seems you have an older 2000 consider you will need a clutch.

Greddy will get you to 315 and the quick spool as proven lethal on the street

Some of my recent kills:

c5 Vette
BMW 135i
Multiple 350Z's
Porsche Cayman S
Older M5
2006 M3

Im telling you 4,000RPMS in 2nd the car will launch like a rocket

I was looking at geddy kits but seeing how expensive they have got its not worth it. id rather ut my own kit together or buy something used. I've seen a few kits going for around 3k which is where im trying to keep my budget. thanks for the info guys.

when looking at turbos what tells me what it handles and how big they are? I see things like the trim and a/r but not sure how to read those. if someone could explain that to me id appriciate it

thanks again
