Default New tune numbers

I just got back from my tune. Overall everything tuned out ok. I forgot the clip for the ems for the aem boost solenoid so my tuner ended up using a manual boost controller and said next time I come back they'll redo it for me. I made 589 hp and 356 tq at 23 psi. They would have gone more by my inejectors were max. My last tune I was at 27 psi and 558 hp. Vtec was lowered to 4k and I hit full boost around 5500 rpms. I have a small video clip I made of the tuning. The car was so loud I had to stop watching. If I had an after market fuel regulator I would have been able to squeeze more power out of the 1000's. I'll more then likely go back in spring with a new fuel system supporting e85. Right now I need to buy some tires and enjoy the car for a little while before the weather gets too cold.

Very nice, Link to your set-up?

Also this clip you speak of, that something we need to buy or does it come with the EMS?

BTW, the Video is broken

Here is a link to the build https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...f=142&t=714233

As far as the clip, its a 3 prong clip. It comes with the ems. I have it, it's in the box I just forgot to bring it with and my tuner is over an hour away and if I wanted to setup another tune it'd be another month.

Nice numbers! I am surprised AMS didn't have a clip lying around that you could use. Who did the tuning? Chris Black?

I guess with most cars you don't use the clip with the ems you splice it into the factory harness. Chris did do the tune, he does all of mine. He looked for a good half hour for a clip. Oh well. I'll be going back anyways so it doesn't really matter.

On a side note, I just ordered some tires

Joey, I just uploaded the video. Youtube may not have approved it yet.

That's too bad. From what I've heard Chris is a highly respected tuner...especially when it comes to Evos. I know that he tours the U.S. doing tuning events every once in a while.

Nice numbers Seth. Your TQ is actually 381, not 356 like you posted so you should fix that.

Why is the dyno so rough at the top? Is ignition breaking up or is that from the injectors running out?

You definitely need to ask Chris if upping your Microbit will fix the injector running out problem. I think that may be your problem but could be wrong.

BTW, did you ask where the timing was set at for running 110? I'd really like to know where he put it compared to what mine is. If you can, find out where timing is when full boost hits and where/what it peaks at.
