Default PWJDM Ram Air Intake! Updated Pics 8/7/08!

I was lucky enough to drive over to PWJDM today, and pick up a few things. They were looking for an DBW S to do some more testing on, and I was looking to purchase some products so it worked out great for both of us. Steve and his guys are very talented and hard working individuals. They are all very cool guys, and it was a pleasure to talk to them all. They have a lot of experience and knowledge within the group, and they really don't stop until their products are top notch.

I did watch as they installed the intake, and I can say that it is a fairly easy install and most anyone should be able to do it without problems. I should mention that you will either need to install hood damper with this intake or bend your factory hood prop until you find the ideal placement to make it work with the system.

The products are very high quality pieces. They weigh almost nothing. The fitments was very good with a few minor adjustments to get everything fitted right. There is no cutting of the hood required to make this intake fit.

While cruising the noise level is not load at all, it's just like stock. It's a completely different story however once you get on it. The growl! Oh the growl is just amazing. This things really roars, and screams in VTEC. The car accelerates faster through the gears, and the difference in power from stock is very noticeable.
I believe PW dyno is very accurate for this product. It feels very nice in the low gears, and first and second gear in VTEC are gone as soon as they arrived. However, you can really feel the difference in power in the higher gears. The car just goes. Almost feels like it hits boost.

The quality is there. The fitment is great. The power is real, and I will hopefully have a dyno up once I get it done soon. I would recommend this intake over other of higher price any day. The performance increase is well worth it.

Feel free to ask any question if you have any. Also if anyone is in socal and wants to see or feel the difference in person then let me know.

Was able to take some better photos today that will really show you the quality of the pieces. Looks amazing under the sunlight...

and the shot everyone has been waiting for...the scoop behind the front bumper...

There will be more dyno posting on this all CF ram air intake than any other so it seems. It has been proven to make horsepower for our S2000.

Well they needed a DBW S to test the fitment of their current products offered. Actually this intake has less parts, tubes to be used to install in a DBW S then a throttle cable ones.

They did mention some future parts they may be producing, but I'm not sure if they would like me disclosing the info till they are done.
