A large pole sounds right to me. Napalm sounds better.

Haha I like how you specified that the screwdriver was a philips, coz of course only an idiot would use a flathead in fending off a dinosaur.

Welder

Heres my reasoning.

Why the welder: Can light other things on fire to defend with, Typically these come with propane or w/e gas is needed. can be used at a decent distance, or a flaming stick can be made quite easily and heres the cons of the rest and why i didnt choose them:

Chainsaw, would work great, one problem you need gas which normally isnt standardly provided.

Nail gun, again would be great, however you need a compressor, which would be quite hard to lug around, and eventually you run out of ammo.

Screw driver, great for a stab from close range, your screwed if you need to hit from a distance

Drill would be damn near useless unless your going to drill whip someone

Big hammer, would be good from a distance, however would be quite tiring to swing around multiple times

Speed bench grinder, just not very framiliar with this

Sander, good up close, screwed form a distance, would look kind fo silly sanding someone anyway.

Large metal pole, good for distance, may get tiring, probably not, would be my 2nd choice.
