Default Anti WalMart

I was just wondering if you guys and gals shop at WalMart. Be honest with the poll, even if you give in once a year you still shop there.
Post your educated thoughts.

A book I suggest reading is, The United States of WalMart by John Dicker.
A Movie I suggest is, WalMart, the high cost of low prices.
Here is a google link to the video. I strongly urge everyone to watch the video prior to posting!

for many millions of americans though, WM represents a place they can go for stuff that are cheap. while i don't care much for WM's purchasing/buying practices (especially overseas and the way it deals with its vendors), it's important to know that many people do depend on WM for things.

Thing that seriously pisses me off about wal mart and has gotten me to never enter their stores again is the shoppers... the people crowd in there like they are in goddamn poverty worse then you would see out in Kenya, lines are always Fing rediculous and it is killing the mom and pop stores. Id gladly and do pay 3-4X as much to avoid standing in line and fighting through the waves of vultures and roaches, F wal mart.

It ain't gonna kill'em to spend 13 cents more per gallon of milk, nor spend $2 more on a t-shirt at a locally owned store.

Fuck WalMart, Fuck Sam Walton and his family.

You want the economy to turn around? By from a local business owner.

I do as much of my shopping at Walmart as I can. I can most definitely afford to shop at Target and mom and pop stores, why? Is my experience during the 20 minutes that I'm there enough to spend 20+% more? For me, I'd rather suck it up and deal with other crappy shoppers and employees for 20 minutes and save money.

Wal-Mart is the reason why so many jobs were shipped overseas in the search for ever lower prices.

I don't have the time to go into it, but if you do the research and seek the truth, Wal-Mart is probably the worst thing to happen to America as a whole.

This is not just my opinion. I will not name names or companies (having spoken and heard first hand from very senior execs in a few well know companies that I used to audit), but many Fortune 500s that do business with them despise them.
