600hp+ Evo vs 644hp S/C Z06
why not call both cars "600hp+"? The EVO is running more boost than when the 601hp dyno session took place, and race gas, IIRC. So it is not 600 hp, it is making quite a bit more. And I am guessing the Z06 runs 93 octane, FWIW.
Other than that, good vid, I guess. Kinda short, and not many specs on the EVO at all (stock intercooler? Stock piping? I think not.). This is the first vid I've seen of that EVO racing a car that was actually close in power. I think it is safe to say that if the Z06 was putting 644hp to the wheels, the EVO is putting down a bit more.
Better intake and exhaust makes more power from the same boost level, and more power for each additional pound of boost, so it is tough to gauge how much more power the car is making on 3 additional pounds of pressure, but it sure looks like it isn't running a horsepower deficit
When is that beast of an EVO going to show off from a dig?

obviously you didnt watch it get taken out by that camaro....
Realistically, it's gota be tough to find cars that fast to race for a video. There aren't really all that many, and how many people want to risk internet infamy for losing?
Fast ass EVO, gotta say that.
