Default if your car has been hit, and it's not your fault,

I can't find my thread b/c S2ki is down for maintenance.
anyhoo, I'll start. I'll make it short.
About 1.5 year ago, a lady came into my work and asked if anyone drives a yellow convertible. she hit it while backing out. there was a nice black streak and my driver side door is dented in She ended up paying me $1K to get it fix
my G35 has various scratches on it b/c my GF scratched it. Can't make my GF pay for it though

Got a check in the mail from the silly girl who backed up into my Yukon's driver door on halloween. $1,500 dent. At least she fessed up, so I'm lucky to get reimbursed for the damage.

Woman ran into me. Admitted it, but she just blew it off as no big deal. She shouldn't be allowed to drive.

She's all fixed now except for new license plates which have been ordered.

Some guy was backing his minivan out of the parking lot with me right behind him. Claimed he didn't see me.

His insurance took care of it though.

Although I suppose technically I hit it.

I had a guy in front of me (leaving a grocery store) back up into my front bumper. Fortuanately I had the bra on and no damage was done. The guy never looked behind him, and I still can't fathom a reason he would have backed up at all.

Got clipped by a guy driving a black Trans Am without any lights on on a dark and rainy night (I never saw him). He took the nose of my car with him and I creased his car from the tip to the tail. Dude denied not having his lights on and police ignored the fact he smelled like a brewery. Police gave me the ticket for failure to yield right of way. Me college student him college professor police believed him.

I got hit head on by a drunk guy, no way to avoid it. NJ is a no fault state and the insurance company found me 10% at fault for being in my car at that place that day.

Got rear ended at a stop light by a dude that jumped the light. Scratched the bumper. Dude that hit me said it wasn't bad. I asked to exchange information and he refused and he left. Called the police with his license plate # and he denied having been there.

Parked car mysteriously got dented while parked in the common parking area where I live. Knucklehead with a van who parks there denied it and blamed it on the landscapers. Landscapers said it was the knucklehead.
