Default Any Austinites have aftermarket seats?

Just curious as to whether anybody in town has aftermarket seats? I'm starting to seriously consider them in order to lower my seating position a couple inches (starting to get neck/shoulder/back pain from slouching in order to see under the windshield frame) and would prefer to see/feel them before I buy.

Cheers,
Dave

Yup; however, I do not want to modify the stock seats (and the drop is probably not enough anyway). I probably wouldn't fit in the Mugen seats, so I'm hoping somebody in Austin or nearby has the Sparco, Recaro, or Minuni (? not sure of the name of the ones Mingster introduced, the ones with adjustable padding) seats.

Cheers,
Dave

I have a roadster in my living room and soon will have some custom Import Development seats being shipped in next month that are similar, but better quality than the Sparco Rev's. I also sell brackets - sliders and non--sliders as well that fit the S.

Dave, give me a call if you want a rail, I have a few rails that will be shipping in very soon and if you want me to add one more for you, please let me know. All current rails that are inbound are already spoken for. I can also provide you with a few options in regards to seats. Thanks - Randy 512.947.1729

I used Recaro SRDs in my last couple of cars. Fabulous seats, very tight in the butt pocket. But, given everything else on them (aka broad shoulder wings), I don't think they'll fit in the S2000.

I have a few sets of rails inbound at the moment. They will be here very soon, but they are all spoken for. As for the seats, they are quite obtainable - basically within days, not weeks or months.

I just hope you are satisfied with the seats you get vtecing!
