Hi guys,
I'm having a little trouble finding a definitive resource on how defensive driving works. I understand that I can take it to get my speeding ticket dismissed. I also understand that I can take it to get my insurance premiums decreased. Can I take it once to do both?

This link seems to imply that I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

One course does both. You might want to wait until the court tells you to take the class though...

 

Yeah, I took it in march. When you're done, you get one certificate that gets sent to the court and a second copy that you send to you insurance company to put on file.
