I work for a luxury hotel downtown Chicago and we are starting construction on a new restaurant in August.

We are currently taking votes on possible names. I would have done a poll but I'm too lazy.

What type of Cuisine is it?

Words that describe it:

Globally Worldly Ethnically Traditional Food Classic Foods American Cooking Simple Foods Senses Surprise Simple Unique Flavors Diversified Flavors
Worldly Styles Universality Around the World

Cosmopolitan American Cuisine
Culturally Inspired American Cuisine
Cosmopolitan Cuisine
Internationally inspired American Cuisine

Suggested Explanations of the Characteristics of the Menu:

Dimensions is the only one even slightly palatable, hehe.

Based on the choices provided, how about 'Tree Hugging Grub'?

'Ohm'??!? you must be joking....

ChiS2K, while those names are certainly very creative and thought-provoking, I find it hard to imagine a group of people deciding on your restaurant simply because no one can get the words out. Does it have to be three words that seemingly have no relation to one another? I think that if you cut it down to two, it would help tremendously. Of your list, "Crescent" is the only one I like, and I actually like that a lot. It's simple, it's charming, it reminds me of the serene moon, which in turn leads me to imagine that the atmosphere inside your restaurant is one that is worldly. Hope this helps! Good luck on the restaurant.

Scrap everything on the menu and add only the following to your menu the following items:

Deep Dish Pizza,
Deep Dish Pizza with a layer of Saahsseehggge,
Vienna Wieners,
Vienna Haaahtdawwgs,
Italian Beef Saandwhich,
Cheeezzhy Beef and,
Polllishh Saahsseehggge.

Preceed every menu item with the words "Chicago Style"

Now name the restaurant, "Chicago's Finest"

You know what.....it's hard to pick a name without some pictures. I'll post a few conceptual pictures later on.

Thanks for all your very amusing inputs though!

I don't see how your list of names fits the description of your food or atmosphere.

Why don't you just call it "Cha-Ching!"?

Back to the point, I've thought of opening a restaurant, and right after I read your description, the first two words that popped in my head were "Flair" and "Zest".......

How about "International Zest"?
