My rear is clicking...:(
My rear end make a clicking noise when I am backing up and also starting from a dead stop. Not whole lot of clicking but one or two clicks. It's probably right inner CV joint?!
If it is inner CV joint, how hard or easy it is to fix/replace the problem area? If it's not what else could it be?
I already ruled out binding calipers.

It sounds like axle nuts. I believe there is a TSB for this, however, you can tighten them up and it usually goes away. The proper thing to do is get two new axle nuts, torque them, and then stake them in position - or take it to the dealer and they will do the same thing. Good Luck.
Almost forgot. The axle nuts should be torqued to 185ft/lbs. Additionally, you may be suffering from the "creaking splines" as it seems to be called. When the grease works out of the splines on the hub endpoint for the CV, it makes a clicking noise when changing the cars direction of travel. Squirt some lubricant in there while you are checking the axle nut torque.

til I get that
fixed.
Thanks.
