Default Condensation in headlight. WTF!?

I'm getting condensation in my driver's side headlight. Is it something I did, or is it "just happening"? Should I take it back to the dealer, and will they replace it wih a new one?

Thanx,
Chris

I have had the same problem with condensation in my passenger side headlight. Also, it looks as though mine has cracked inside????? I noticed the condensation about 2 weeks ago and then yesterday I saw what looked like cracks inside??

If it is still factory cond (not opened for clearing or what not) then take it to the dealer. I've heard of them replacing for that before.

Yes the cracks suck for real. I haven't cleared mine so I will have to go by a dealer soon.

I had the same problem, but what i did was i took off the headlight, and i took a air hose to take out the condensation. Bought some sealer and no more condensation. It was a pain to do, but at least i didn't have to buy a new one.

OEM Headlights leak (if not cracked) through the light bulb socket gaskets and the HID Ballast gasket. they should be lubed with the same stuff you put on your soft top seals. it come that way from the factory. Also I too have seen several posts where the dealers replaced them under warranty. Get it taken care of quickly, if enough water gets in there, it shorts the HID ballasts. The ballasts sit in the lowests part of the headlight assy, so all water drains and can short them out.

I have had this happen to mine.

It's being taken to a dealer in a week or so.

When I got mine 2nd hand it had this condensation and the guy told me that it was no biggy and I assumed that it was just from through the bulb sockets as Stratocaster said. Now Im concerned but my warranty is out and I also have some 4mm bubbles developing in the black section of the casing in front of the HID's.

Ill be taking it to the dealer asap but chances are they'll tell me its my prob since its out of warranty.

Kamofly did you just put the sealer around the bulb socket? Why was it such a pita?

Anyone heard of the bubbling in the casing? I have clears standard being in Aus so no issue there.
