Default Confirmed! Trunklid Stop Light is Different on '02!

Well, I've been thinking it for nearly three weeks now and I was right! The rear trunklid stop light has more of an arched angle now on the '02. . .

I could feel it everytime I closed the trunk and tonight when MyBad and VTECnology came over, we noticed the difference. I asked their opinion and we looked at them from an angle ('00 and '01 S2000's) and you can see the difference!

Hmmmm. . .no wonder I was experiencing better handling!

Well, to most of you. . .this is just a waste, but to others, it's pure enlightment!

Maybe it's for improved aerodynamics? More downforce in the rear? Can anyone post comparison photos?

I actually thought this when I went to see the '02 a few weeks ago. I thought it was my imagination, along with the new gold tint to the paint on the wheels. Thank you for confirming I'm not losing my mind at age 31 .

Airgate:

You got a pretty cute little dog there. You let him/her ride on your S?

That is NOKI the Chihuahua, she is the arch rival of Mr. Pockets here! She rides every once in awhile, so far, not in the '02. . .

The new 3rd brake light is very nice! The angle up from the back of the trunk lid is rather subtle until you look at a MY00 or MY01 righ next to it, then you notice the MY02 has quite a lid spoiler on the back now.

Can someone do a split screen comparison thing for the 01' and 02' brake light? I didn't compare mine with my friend's 01'.
