Just like the title says i believe that Marijuana should be legal. What makes it any worse then alcohol? if anyhting its better. Lets see, when your drunk...You do alot of stuff you usually wouldnt do, like fight, cheat on a gf or wife etc...With weed you get relaxed, hungry, and just feel good. And a hangover with alcohol sucks, not with weed though. I have a feeling the only reason its illegal cause our wonderful government thinks that if they make it legal and tax it, that no one would buy it and jsut grow it....I cant say i wouldnt grow it rather then buy it if it was leagl...BUT...if they made it illegal to grow, but offered it in say like the produce sections in grochery stores at a taxed price...it would make a killing and our glorious government could get a $hit load of tax money...It just makes no sense in my head that as a drug its self, alcohol can be legal, but marijuana is illegal. I mean regardless if its legal or not, who cares, its america youll get it if you want...but it would be nice to not have that worry factor of getting caught...They say it leads on to heavier drugs...now thats another unfair thing...self control varies from person to person...jsut cause some crack heads start smokin weed but end up on crack has nothing to do with weed....its jsut like liquor in a sense...since some people become alcoholics should we ban it? hell no...its that persons problem...they cant handle drinking like a regular human being, if anything take that privleage from that individual....But back to if they grew it too, since it would be legal..companys would be growin it in greenhouses, and i bet it would be just perfect bud....they really should wake up and give america what it wants....people have been doin it for a long a$$$$$$ time and i doubt the use of it will ever stop....they say our country is free, so why cant me smoke something that comes from the earth? So in your guys opinion do you think the government will ever wake up and make Marijuana legal? i really hope it does, and soon lol....and think of it this way...God made Marijuana and Man made Beer who do you trust more???

This is one debate i would hate to get involved in. But i will, ever heard of THC? Well that sticks in your brain the same way the tar sticks in your lungs. What does that do? It signifcantly reduces your mental capabilities. Alcohol only rips up your liver, and has minimal effect on your brain. It's as or if not more addictive then "cigs" that means people would be buying a shitload. Second hand smoke would also be an issue, it smells horrible, and i dont know what it is it makes me dizzy as hell. Honestly i wouldnt want people comin up to me, "heeeeeyyy mannnn gotta a aaa light yooooo. hehheheheheheheheh."

 

well thats your personal opinion, and that was funny lol...but im saying why shouldn't we have a choice to decide to do it or not...its our own health...regardless, drugs arent good for you, but why let one be legal when a diffrent mild one isnt? not fair. alcohol is bad for you....but fun...just like marijuana...and the smell is great, what are you talkin about, you must be smelling the projects grass lol...try some nice strand and you might change your mind.

No offense taken, however, cigs IMHO are just as mentally addictive as marijuana, marijuana is only mentally addictive. As far as the long term effects of THC? From what i had heard there were long term effects. I'll research into it this coming week, and get back to ya. I should have supported my claims with articles in the first place.

 

I meant to say that Cigarettes ARE physically addictive and Marijuana IS NOT. Just thought I'd clarify as I re-read that sentence and it wasn't very clear.

Cool man, I am always looking for new info, but I've been pretty convinced by what I've read about the risks involved with Marijuana and have determined it safer then cigarettes as well as alchohol. And between those 3 substances mentioned, marijuana is the only real untreated natural substance. I like that idea as I figure nature must have intended for us to figure it out
