I've received the following email from the inventor of this device

I'm intrigued!
What's the betting he's removed the cupholder, and the whole thing fits in that recess, and yoiu're able to close the flap over it!

If it's thin enough, it would go well on the inside of the stereo door IMHO. (That's where I'm considering putting Smartire, if I can get an non-ripoff UK price.)

The unit measures approximately 105mm across, 68mm high and 43mm deep.
