Stopped in the Audio Connection tonight to check their progress on my car. I arrived just as the installer was putting on the console cover. Although the seats weren't put back in yet, the black carpets had been installed and looked 500 percent better than the red. The console cover (red top with black sides and S2000 logo embroidered in black between head unit cover and shift boot) and red and black combo shift boot looked fantastic. Even though I've been making these things available to everybody else, I couldn't believe the difference the console cover made in my own car. Can't wait to see how it looks with the seats back in.

I'll be picking the car up at the end of the day tomorrow. Weather Wednesday morning is supposed to be good, with sun, and temps in the 50s. Guess where I'll be? My camera will be along and I'll try to post pictures Wednesday night.

 

Rick, you supply five pages of color pictures showing how to install the console cover, and you have a professional install your cover?

 

Rick I want to order the shift boot in preferated(sp) but didnt see it on S2KI.COM. Is it available? I thought I had seen it in a post a while back

It does sound ridiculous, but since he had half the interior apart for the change out of the carpets and the audio install, and the head unit and side covers completely off, I thought it made sense to have him do it. Plus I'm spending so much of my spare time on managing production, orders, and shipping of all this stuff, I thought I might never get around to it.

It is available in perforated leather, but it's $20 extra.

 

I brought my car in for a service to my dealership yesterday, and every one of the people there were truely impressed by how the console cover + shift knob cover look. I cannot wait to see how your car looks like with so many mods done to it already!!
