Default Pollen season again!

Here in my neck of the woods, the pollen is starting to fall again. It causes nothing but sneezing and a yellow haze on our vehicles. Any suggestions how I can keep my car clean throughout this period? I put my top down on the drive to work today, and when I arrived my dash had pollen all over it! By the way, my car is not garaged.

I would prolly do 2 things...

1. Put on some Carnuba, it'll keep some of it off (where as Zaino and what not will attract it)

2. Get a California Duster, those are really helpful for light dust matter.

Thats all I can think of really...

superdyu is right on...
i would also cover the car (car cover) whenever possible.
if you are at work and dont have your detail products, dust the exterior, as suggested, and light wipe the insides (if possible with a slighly damp microfiber towel). if you are at home, an occasional dust and detailers spray might be a good idea.
also consider washing it more often than normal if it needs it.

Thanks guys! I always dread this time of year. I guess a California duster can be had at walmart or such stores?

Target. They have been expanding their car aisle lately.

I find the dustglove to be more ergonomic than the Original Cali - also is a fraction of the price.

Original Cali dusters will be in stock in a week or so for those that prefer them.

MAJOR WARNING WITH CALI DUSTERS!!!!

First several times you use it, it will leave a waxy residue on the car. This isn't a big issue but I don't want you to end up having surprises. Overtime these waxes disappear with use.

I think seeing them is a bigger issue on Black than silver though...

superdyu- good point.
thats cause they are "impregnated" with a wax type substance (wrap in newspaper or similar when new before using). i usually follow my dustings by a detailers spray. i prefer the sprays that contain some carnuba- so with a new duster i would be (sorta) waxing twice!!
also, i usually keep the same duster with each of my cars, and never seem to need to replace any of them (dusters that is)

Phew..I thought I was the only one that noticed it. That's why I absolutely hate the duster. Even though it removes dust, it leaves these weird streaks....almost looks like you missed a couple spots when buffing the wax off your car.

I use a clean microfiber to "dust off" the car. Don't wipe, this will just drag the dust through the paint. By dust, I mean using the weight of the cloth alone, kinda lightly "knock" the dust off.
