Default Punctured my new S-02's

Yikes!....Was washing my car this evening in the driveway and noticed my rear S02 with a nail in it. I have the Honda Roadside assistance so it will cover the tire. The nail is 1/2 inch inwards on the tread from the sidewall. How possible do you think it would be for me to get a new tire. Id rather not get it repaired.

Anyone had this experience with claiming a tire?

Thanks
Ian

tugz,

i don't think roadside assistance actually covers the COST of the tire (or repair charges for that matter) - they'll take it off for you and put on a spare etc.

i may be wrong, but that is my understanding.

anyone else....

I just called Honda roadside assistance and they say just take the wheel/tire to my local dealer and have them fix/replace the tire at no cost to me. Tire replacement/repair is one of the main reasons i opted for the ext warranty w/roadside. They will replace/repair my tires if I have a Flat, puncture or anything safety related with the tires up to 6y/100kms...Not bad eh? Considering S-02's cost $250+ a pop.

peace

That blows man..sorry..

though its pretty cool that you get it replaced! I had a nail in my tire this summer..luckily it was only in the tread, and when it was pulled out..no puncture..

As the others have said..get a new one if you can

Does anyone know how to properly identify the S2K OEM S02 from the aftermarket S02?

Thanks
