Yes, that is the original concept shown in 1995. The SSM came first, then the SSX, and now we have the S2000.
av8tor2- If you have a pic of the front end you should post that. The front headlights were low on the front and were very eye catching.
The SSM had over 300 bhp because HONDA had started with the Vigor's 5-cyl., the tranny was a sequential gearbox and the dash had a gauge that indicated what gear you were in. The '95 SSM for me is what started it all!

the front end is a little rounder in production,
alot more sharp edges in the concept,
the honda emblem is in the grill,
the car overall looks a little bit bigger in the concept,
the rollbars look awesome,
rims are bigger and nicer
Im not putting down the S2K in anyway. I love my car. Im just saying , why do car companies design futuristic looking concepts and then decide to go conservative when it comes to production.
