Percentage of S2K exterior /interior colors worldwide
I just checked out the list of registered S2000 owners (not the S2Ki members list) to see what the percentages were for the various exterior/interior colors, and the percentage of sales per state/country. Although the register list only represents a small proportion of worldwide owners, it should provide a reasonable guide. Out of 368 registered owners, the number and approximate percentages were:
SILVER/Black = 108 = 29%
RED/Black = 75 = 20%
SILVER/Red = 68 = 18%
BLACK/Black = 52 = 14%
WHITE/Red = 35 = 9.5%
BLACK/Red = 20 = 5%
BLUE/Black= 7 = 2%
YELLOW/Black = 2 = 0.5%
RED/Red = 1 = 0.3%
And the rarest of all are WHITE/Black, BLUE/Red, and YELLOW,Red......because there aren't any. Maybe these will be the new colors for 2002!
Of all the cars registered here, 17% were sold in California, 7.5% in Florida, and in third place, the U.K. with 4%. There are also 18 U.S. states where no S2K owners are registered! In California 62% are SILVER and 24% are BLACK.

Sweet! Only 14% have my black/black??? I thought there would be many more. In Oklahoma City all we seem to have are black. There's 2 on the floor right now. One's been there for months now. (well, they did sell that yellow one real quick last week.) But o well, I'm glad I have the best color combo!

Just curious, where did you find this list of owners with Red/Red & blue/red S2000s. This seems like a very unsavory color combination, since the red interior does not matcht the red exterior. It would seem that the clash would be horrible! I do not believe that either of these color combinations r/r or b/r are factory combos. Do you have links or photos of these cars?
