cheap harness
While attending a autox for novices this weekend one of the instructors gave me a tip on making a cheap harness.
Grab the seatbelt by the buckle give it one twist then latch it in, pull up to tighten from the chest area and bingo it plants your butt securely and stays tight while you go around the course. Pretty neat I thought.
Just some info for other novices I'm sure some of you more seasoned racers have known about this.

I bought a single 4" belt to wrap around my seat.... it only costed (new word) $15 or so from racerswarehouse
i don't auto-x though... used it at the track though.
Charlie....you are going to have to come to Rauschcreek (2.3 mile road course)when it opens...it is about 40 miles east of harrisburg.
