I got a call from Blair again, they just got their second '04. This one is Rio Yellow. Blair has a Spa, so we had a GREAT opportunity to park them side by side and take these shots.

Rio has a LOT more pearl in it than Spa. Other than that, it doesn't look very different UNTIL you see the two side by side. Then the difference is instantly apparent. Enjoy!!

Yeah, AP2 it is. Not surprising, since the AP1 means S2000/F20C1. I guess AP2 means S2000/F22CI?

 

ap1 and ap2 are just chassis codes.

like dc2 is for the gsr/type r

dc4 is for the rs/ls

Razor, FYI, I was just quoting out of the service manual regarding the "AP1" in the VIN.

 

I really like the rear bumper on the '04!

 

i didn't realize how much the '04 bumper looks more "chiseled"

 

The body colored valence really makes for a different look! Agreed!
