I know this is a LONG time from now, but I figured I would ask.
I will be in Tucson from about 5/24 to 5/27 for a BMW CCA conference.
If someone were interested it would be great if we could hook up. I would like to see the city from someone who really knows the area. I will after all only be about 2,000 miles from home.
I will be staying at the Sheraton I think. Maybe dinner and a few beers?

Easy there big shooter. A southwest thing???
Sorry for the delay, HHH, but us 'southwest guys' are having a busy week! Glad to hear you'll be out in our neck of the woods. I am quite certain that we will be able to round up a group to get together for dinner and / or drinks.
Like you said, it's a ways out. Personally, I have trouble planning what I'm gonna do tomorrow.
Keep in touch about your trip & we'll look forward to seeing you in May.

There we go
I'm seeing some humor now!
I too agree, it is a long ways away, but I just get so excited when BMW CCA flies me to someplace and I can use my free time to hook up with devoted Honda people.
ceo2b - Wow. 260 miles, a 4-hour drive. Now that is a generous offer. The beer out there must really be good!
I was in Prescott a number of years ago. I drove out of town going south and that road down the mountain that split so the part I was on was only downhill was just too much fun. I was in a rental Suzuki Metro, that thundering 3 cylinder and the bicycle tires made it a blast. I don't remember a single minute when I did not have the tires squealing! Oh what a blast!
That was the 1st and only time I have been in your state and I was amazed. For me it was like an alien landscape and it was so beautiful. I'm really looking forward to coming out again.
I'll keep you guys posted, I'm looking forward to this trip!

T-H,
We do that road fairly often. The last trip was great: there was no traffic so we could do the curvy sections outside Prescott at full speed, we had a bunch of sport bikes with us, and we had enough time to do extra trips up and down the hill.
Dave's right: May is so far out that no one wants to commit to anything and then not show. Considering Tucson is 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix, I am sure that a few of us will want to make the trip down. Maybe we can even do a Friday night run up Mt. Lemmon.

OK you guys, I'm now encouraged.
Sounds like we can hook up in May and have a blast, I can't wait.
I'll pop up from time to time in your forum just so I can stay in touch!
And buy the way, when I'm out there, I will have been an owner for less than 2 months. My '02 Spa is due mid-April. I'm just about to get the build date and VIN from my dealer!
Many thanks!
