My wife, Kim and I just landed in Englewood last night with our S from Kalamazoo.

We will be in this area for 7 to ?? days depending on the Weather up north. The Bridgestone SO2s are on the S, so we can't go home till all the roads up north are Clear.



So what's going on around here ?

We would like to Thank the Georga Po Pos who lets us off w/o a ticket.

They set us up real Good with three cars running behind us without lights on at 4am last saturday morning. The Officers paced us, and then taged us doing 98, just to let us go with a warning . They must have seen us on camera somewhere in Atlanta on I75 going very fast. They tried to get us at first on Radar a couple of times just south of Atlanta. That didn't work (escort SR7), so they set us up about 50 miles later with a Very Stealth Stevie Wonder Sting.

That Worked, The Officer said "you all must have a good radar system becaues you sure do slow down real quick when I hit you with my Radar". He then ask me about 10 questions (I must have scored a perfect 10) and let us go on our way

Welcome to Florida! Seems like everyone wants to run from winter and comes to hide out in Florida!

At first i had to look up where Englewood is. Never really been. Found out it's just West of Punta Gorda. Have fun!!


BTW What were those 10 questions from the Georgia Troopers?

 

Yes Florida is a good place to hide for a little while. We are visiting my parents in Englewood (Dad) and Sarasota (Mom).

First they surrounded our S with their cars, then the Officer says "Drives License". The Officer then walks to the back of our car and says "DRIVER, Step to the back of the car please" and starts to fire some questions at me once I am out of the car and off the highway.



QUESTION #1 Where are you all going too so fast ?

ANSWER--> Florida, to see my father who is not felling so well.
( ok, a little white lie, no one feels all that well at 70+ )

Ready for Da Dragon ?

So far, the best Twisties we have found in Florida, are the off ramps on the highway.

 

I'm doing good. Can't wait for WTD '06. Think I'll be flying in, so I won't have my car, but it'll still be FUN!

How sad is it that the best twisties here in So Fla are the ramps to & from the highway? Up toward central FL, they have much better roads for the S!

Not too bad, however I didn't place in the top three, so no money for me.

My best finish has been 6th so far.

Thought today just might be the day, cuz it's my Birthday day today, Oh well I'll get em next time.

Think that I may have used up some of my extra luck saturday morning in Georga.

Finished 669 out of 2825 players though, so not to bad I guess.

I'll try again next monday, if I can make the big game. Made it the last three weeks so my chances are pretty good to make next mondays big game.
