Default Greetings from Eldorado Hills!

'Sup all. I'm posting this from my hotel room a few miles from Comptech. I decided to drive out here from SF and have them install my S/C+AC which also required an overnight stay.

Sounds crazy I know, but given how much the parts cost (not to mention the cost of a screwed up install) I put my money on the guys who built the kit. THeir install cost about twice the lowest estimate I got locally but it includes a pre-install dyno run, and post-install dyno tune.

Oh yeah, and my S gets to spend the night in a garage full of racing engines, polished headers, tricked out NSX's and no less than 3 fully prepped race cars. That slut!

I gotta give props to their techs and staff too... they let me roam around the shop and we talked about all the sexy toys in there... roots supercharged NSX engines, a TSX for which a SC is being developed... did I mention race cars? Remember the feeling of going to Toys R Us when you were 7?

If they let me take some pics, I'll post 'em. I forgot to bring my digital cam but I bought a disposable and I can scan 'em in.

Mkay, finally got the pics compressed and loaded on the site. Below is a few of them.

I just arrived. Hmmm... this must be the right place.

These look like fun.

My car about ready to have the SC installed. (Actually, testbed S2K car, currently non-operational)

Supercharger anyone? (S2000 kits on the right).

Mid-install and dyno run.

SC NSX C32B (could be C30A - I didn't bother to ask)

Who says Honda only makes 4 bangers?

Anyone interested in a S2000 with an Aurora V8 swap?

Current TSX testbed car. Has all available Comptech parts. I did get a ride in this. Solid and nice low exhaust note.

Another TSX currently undergoing development of a SC kit (roots-type from what I heard).

Anyway, props to Ryan and Jonesy and all the guys at Comptech for all the work they did to get this job done right.

-edit

any chance you got some more pics of the TSX's engine bay? Us TSX owners are interested to what CompTech is up to.

That was the only one I took. I didn't see any hardware nearby waiting to be installed. Just looked like the stock airbox was out and the crank pulley was off.

Sweet! If I were to buy an S/C, I'd have them install it too. Let us know how things go. I'd like to see your dyno charts.
