'Sup all. I'm posting this from my hotel room a few miles from Comptech. I decided to drive out here from SF and have them install my S/C+AC which also required an overnight stay.
Sounds crazy I know, but given how much the parts cost (not to mention the cost of a screwed up install) I put my money on the guys who built the kit. THeir install cost about twice the lowest estimate I got locally but it includes a pre-install dyno run, and post-install dyno tune.
Oh yeah, and my S gets to spend the night in a garage full of racing engines, polished headers, tricked out NSX's and no less than 3 fully prepped race cars. That slut!
I gotta give props to their techs and staff too... they let me roam around the shop and we talked about all the sexy toys in there... roots supercharged NSX engines, a TSX for which a SC is being developed... did I mention race cars? Remember the feeling of going to Toys R Us when you were 7?
If they let me take some pics, I'll post 'em. I forgot to bring my digital cam but I bought a disposable and I can scan 'em in.
That was the only one I took. I didn't see any hardware nearby waiting to be installed. Just looked like the stock airbox was out and the crank pulley was off.
