are there places in the local area who install superchargers. im preferrably looking for someone who has installed comptech blowers before - except gary smith.

You might give Adams Automotive a call , they offer dyno runs and dyno tuning, I talked to him about a project I'm thinking about and he sounded interested, their # is 850-683-DYNO

 

You could also pm slos2k in Montgomery, he is a certified Honda Mechanic and has installed numerous chargers on S2000s including his.

It is a very indepth install so I wouldn't recommend just letting someone who says they can do it, do it. Chris will take care of you and you will have nothing to worry about.

If he has all day, he and his friend can probably do it in a day, if he has all the parts. Are you going to Turbo it or Supercharge it. Oh yeah, he is a certified Honda and Acura tech so he is pretty darn good. If you decide to go with someone else, MAKE SURE TO GET IT TUNED. It is imperitive that you get it tuned, don't just put the turbo or supercharger on it and take off. Tune it, get with Jeramiah (silvs2knvb), he is friends with the guys from Turbo Trix out of New Jersey and they come down all the time to tune cars in Pcola. You can also get with Johnny at Adams, very good work, but very hard to get in because they are soooooo busy there. Give me a shout if you need anything.
