Default Comptech SC spark plugs and belt

I am starting to replace some wear items on the S. What plugs do you guys recommend for a Comptech SC w/o AC? I have been searching around it seems like alot people are using IK24s. Does the the SC benifit from colder then stock plugs and what about gap? What do most of you guys run? I have the stock pully and management as well.

Also how often are you supposed to change the SC belt? and do they normally show any signs of wear before they go?

Thanks

I guess you didn't find the thread where a few of us discovered that the IK24's were developing a high rpm miss, huh? Those who saw that thread and were using the 24's have switched to the NGK copper racing plug 7173. These are on hear range colder than stock.

The belt should be checked periodically for signs of wear. You will see cracking where there aren't any original built in cracks for flex. You will also see fraying and delamination. My original Vortech belt has now been on for over 15,000 miles and it still looks OK. It all depends on how it's been adjusted.

They should last about 3000 to 5000 miles. At least you need to check them that often.
I daily drive mine no problems. They're called "racing plugs" for marketing. They're still just spark plugs.

Don't know. Unlike a traditional single electrode plug, I'm not sure how you would gap those things and what gap to use. Most FI cars need a much narrower gap. If you have 4 gaps, I really don't know how you would set them.

Then how will you ever know if they're good for F.I. application? I wouldn't use them.
