Snow tires
I've got Blizzak's for the front and Michelin X-Ice's for the rear. I had to get different models because they were all out of the Blizzaks for the rear. I used them once in about 3" of snow and they worked great. Tire Rack advised that having mixed models wasn't the ideal setup, but they work. Another thing that I've heard is having staggered snow tires is not really required for this car like it is with the high performance tires and is just a waste of money. I wish I knew that before I got them.
Staggering snow tires is fine and the car would handle better in the dry. Running the 205/55R16 all the way around on the car if you do get a lot of snow will improve the grip in the worst condition.
If I can help just give me a call.
